SYSTEM ENGINEER - OCO Virtualization Product Manager - 12+ yrs of Experience - TS/SCI w/Poly clearance is required - PP

Requirements<\/h3>

• SAFe Product Owner\/Product Manager or similar Agile certification(s) is desirable. VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or similar certifications are highly desirable.<\/span>
  <\/span><\/span> <\/div><\/li>
• Experience working with government agencies or contractors in the intelligence or defense sectors is highly desirable.<\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Deep knowledge of virtualization technologies such as vSphere and vCenter, orchestration of virtual machine deployment and management. Familiarity with containerization technologies like Kubernetes, and concepts of shared service meshes with services such as Keycloak, MinIO, and Vault.<\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills, along with experience with Agile methodologies and cloud services. Proven experience in<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>building enterprise\-grade products from concept to launch. Deep knowledge of virtualization technologies, including various infrastructure platforms. Proficiency with agile tools like Jira and Confluence.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Experience in the development of products and\/or management in a development environment. They build and implement product strategies aligned with the OCO PMO’s vision, develop roadmaps, and prioritize features for virtualization and containerization platforms.<\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Facilitate interactions between all stakeholders and actively interacting. Good with documentation.<\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Hands\-on personality, take ownership, actively engage with the team, constant engagement with key stakeholders. <\/span>

• Understand team needs, get them what their needs are. <\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Senior Product Managers guide and mentor less experienced product managers, collaborating to deliver products on time and within budget. <\/span>

• They work with various stakeholders, including clients, senior management, and other teams, to gather feedback and shape product requirements.<\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Comprehensive training on installing, configuring, and managing VMware vSphere.<\/span>

• In\-depth training on administering Kubernetes clusters, including deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.<\/span>

• Training on the NATS.io messaging system for building scalable and resilient distributed systems.<\/span>

  • Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management or related discipline from an accredited college or university. MBA or similar degree is a plus<\/span><\/span>
