Sr. Systems Product Manager (Sr. Manager, Data and Technology)

The Sr. Systems Product Manager is viewed as the subject matter expert for key internal systems and external vendor SaaS applications that are in use within our organization. This role will work closely with business teams (operations, finance, sales) to ensure that their needs are supported with technology and collaboratively plan for new features and changes/enhancements. The candidate should be a problem-solver who can think critically and partner across the organization to lead changes and implement solutions. You should be able to model behaviors that support our company values, especially collaboration, innovation, and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the technology representative for key systems and applications within the organization
  • Ability to connect and interpret business processes to systems (existing or future planned)
  • Maintain and refine backlog items in partnership with leadership
  • Collaborate with other departments to define areas of opportunity for technology-oriented support
  • Creative thinker able to solve ambiguous problems in an efficient manner
  • Ability to break down complex problems into iterative solutions

  • Contribute to operational process creation and documentation development
  • Lead technology projects across our corporate and field teams
  • Embrace curiosity to expand knowledge and apply to projects and on-going work

Required Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a product owner/manager or similar role
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent horizontal communication and ability to work as a team
  • Understanding of agile development methodologies and product lifecycle management
  • High School diploma

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to working with NetSuite and cloud-based data platforms (ex: Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Fabric)
  • Previous experience in the logistics/transportation industry and/or warehouse management systems
  • Project or portfolio management experience with a focus on technology
  • Worked with or knowledge of REST & SOAP APIs, PHP, Linux
  • Four-year bachelor's degree

  • Work is performed in an indoor office environment and involves contact with employees, customers, vendors
  • Occasional visits to local warehouse may be required
  • Some weekend and evening hours may be required
