Job Details

Under the direction of the VP of Product Management, the Integrations Product Manager engages and aligns with business to drive discovery and requirement gathering for development requests related to healthcare technology interoperability, particularly within the pharmacy and electronic medical records space. He / She effectively communicates business requirements to development team members to implement successful solutions. He / She also provides front line support for their products by responding to inquiries, troubleshooting, and resolving problems for issues that do not require development. He / She documents notes and resolutions in the Service Desk and DevOps systems. He / She is  responsible for monitoring and maintaining their assigned products, as well as enabling others to use the product features to their full potential, assuring product success and adoption. Responsibilities

  • An understanding of the supported technology integrations, features , value proposition, product goals, and the core need each product fulfills

  •  Stakeholder Engagement and Alignment for new features or ticket requests

  • Drive Discovery and Requirements Gathering by initiating conversations and understating of what is being requested and the impact to key stakeholder groups. 

  • Create requirements documents and related solution design documentation to effectively communicate requirements and suggested solutions to development and other stakeholders

  • Influence the strategy behind and creation of new features while considering business’ capabilities and values with the wants and needs of the customer

  • Perform analysis and triage of issues including data collection

  • Monitor products to ensure there are no outages or major productivity issues

  • Prepare evaluations of products and recommend improvements or upgrades

  • Maintain products as requested and the metrics associated with product success

  • Enable users of the products to utilize it to its full potential by making suggestions of queues or reports to monitor or steps to follow to ensure proper use of the product

  • Work with support, marketing, operations, legal & compliance and sales to assure smooth product launches and assure effective feedback loops are leveraged.

  • Ideal candidate will have working knowledge of healthcare IT interoperability standards (e.g. HL7), epescribing standards (NCPDP / Surescripts) and various EMRs

Requirements

  • College degree in engineering, computer science or business

  • Demonstrated experience in product management, product support, product development or business solutions analysis

  • 5+ years of related experience in healthcare technology (Pharmacy technology preferred)
