Summary

The Senior Product Manager serves as the strategic and operational leader for Budget Blinds’ motorization and automation program and the associated Vendor Alliance Partners (VAPs) and suppliers, such as Rollease and Somfy. This hybrid or remote role combines end‑to‑end product ownership with vendor relationship leadership, ensuring all motorization and automation products, programs, partners, and initiatives deliver exceptional value to franchisees, customers, and the system as a whole.

This role has no direct reports and requires strong leadership capability, influence, and the ability to operate effectively in a senior, cross-functional environment. The role provides exposure and professional development opportunities through project-based leadership, and collaboration.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead long‑term strategy development for assigned product program and/or categories.
  • Own and maintain the product roadmap.
  • Analyze trends, franchisee feedback, competitive landscape, and category performance.
  • Lead the full lifecycle of assigned programs and/or categories.
  • Partner with vendors on new product introductions and innovation efforts.
  • Serve as the primary business liaison for Vendor Alliance Partners and suppliers
  • Monitor performance and collaborate with Finance on forecasting.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and vendors on promotional programs.
  • Coordinate vendor sample orders.
  • Act as a cross-functional leader.
  • Gather franchisee insights and translate into actions.
  • Support corporate events and initiatives.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree and
  • Minimum of five years of Product Management experience, or
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Window coverings industry experience and motorization and automation technical aptitude required. 
  • Experience in franchising or home services industries is preferred 
  • Familiarity with rebate, forecasting, or promotional funding programs is preferred 
  • Understanding of product safety compliance is preferred 
  • Experience managing complex product portfolios is preferred 

            Physical Requirements

            • Light-duty work environment – primarily office-based with minimal physical exertion 
            • This position is primarily sedentary and requires the ability to work at a computer for extended periods. 
            • Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer. 
            • Occasional standing or walking for presentations or facilitation. 
            • Ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs occasionally. 
            • May require up to 25% travel for meetings, vendor events, training, or conventions in the US and internationally.

            The pay range for this position is $125,000 - $140,000. Actual pay will be determined by factors including candidate experience and qualifications.
