This role requires an experienced, customer focused product manager to be responsible for the commercial activities to support development and commercialization of Epic products as part of our Comprehensive Cancer Profiling technology.
The person in this role is responsible for developing specific marketing plans for our products which utilize CTCs and ctDNA technologies. Interprets and translates scientific clinical data into commercial implications. Conducts and manages primary and secondary market research projects, manages the advertising agency and product labeling. Analyzes technical data and makes strategic recommendations. Provides marketing insight and direction to optimize new product launches. Recommends pricing strategies, and monitors marketing budget and expenditures. Ensures customer requirements are included in product development plan and correspond to market needs. May develop short and long-range strategies for product line expansion. Represents marketing group on cross-functional core team interfacing with product development, operations, regulatory and quality to develop new products or enhance existing products or product lines. Develops training materials for product launches.
ELEMENTS:
Education/Experience: A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant life science or business management field, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in technical or scientific or product development; with > 5 years’ experience as a Product Manager in a Life Sciences or Oncology context. Experience launching lab developed tests (LDTs) a plus, experience with next generation sequencing/genetic analysis preferred. Demonstrated success in defining product market attributes, contributing to development activities and launching products.
Communication Skill: Works with an exceptional degree of effectiveness with both internal and external audiences to analyze, interpret, and summarize data both orally and in writing; ability to represent the company and its products in front of small and large audiences. A high degree of skill in both written and oral presentations.
Interpersonal Skill: Works effectively both as an individual and part of a team; can manage relationships with both internal and external customers effectively.
Judgment: Ability to independently research, develop, optimize, and implement processes relevant to specific business needs; ability to design and lead projects and carry them to completion against a timeline
Execution: Highly efficient at multitasking; able to help define issues and opportunities to a variety of audiences; demonstrated ability to accomplish complex tasks; with the ability to troubleshoot problems and generate effective solutions.

· Train and support field organization to ensure accomplishment of revenue plan.
· Develops short- and long-term tactics and strategies to achieve business objectives and key product drivers.
