About the role
We are hiring a Senior Digital Product Manager to join our team embedded with a globally recognized consumer electronics brand headquartered in Cupertino, CA. You will work alongside the client's online store team on their consumer ecommerce experience, with a current focus on payments initiatives. This is a hybrid role and requires working onsite in Cupertino three days per week (shuttle provided).
Responsibilities
- Partner with designers and engineers to define and deliver new payments integrations and checkout experiences across the client's digital storefront.
- Work with client product and business stakeholders to scope features and drive them from concept through design and development.
- Own the day-to-day mechanics of product delivery, including specifications, acceptance criteria, dependency tracking, status reporting, and quality checks.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with cross-functional partners across the client's organization.
- Surface risks, tradeoffs, and dependencies early, and keep client stakeholders informed throughout the project lifecycle.
- Validate and verify project deliverables and uphold a high bar for quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- 4 to 7 years of product management experience shipping consumer-facing digital products. Ecommerce backgrounds are strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to navigate large, matrixed organizations with multiple competing priorities, and to influence outcomes without direct authority.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated track record of building consensus among cross-functional partners to keep work moving forward.
- Intellectually curious and highly adaptable, with the ability to quickly learn the working norms of new teams and environments.
- Low ego and high emotional intelligence, with the professional maturity to build influence on a new team through contribution rather than credentials. You lead with questions before recommendations.
- Technical curiosity and fluency. You can follow architecture discussions, read API documentation, and engage credibly with engineering partners on technical tradeoffs and estimates.
- Experience working closely with design teams, with a solid understanding of the UX process and how designers work. You value designer input and partner with them effectively throughout the product lifecycle.
- Ability to move fluidly between the big picture and operational details, and to maintain momentum when priorities and deadlines shift.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience delivering ecommerce checkout, payments, financing, or subscription experiences at scale.
- Experience working embedded inside a client organization or in a consulting or agency capacity.
- Experience navigating large consumer technology organizations with complex stakeholder maps.
