Overview:

Mission of Blackhawk Network’s is to be a market leader in Issuing/Processing Services which provide a highly scalable and feature rich complete end-to-end solution to issue and process both open loop and closed loop prepaid payment products. The foundation of this service/product offering brings innovation, value creation, and profitability for Blackhawk’s Partners for both existing and emerging prepaid payment utilities.

 

Blackhawk Network’s Billing and Settlement Product team is looking for a hands-on Product Manager with strong technical aptitude and prior experience collaborating with stakeholder and engineering teams to deliver innovative B2B Billing and Settlement solutions. The candidate must have both a proven track record building technical product services and a desire to drive amazing new product capabilities in the critical Billing/Invoicing/Accounting world.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage from concept to launch, collaborating with internal experts and clients to produce intelligent and insightful products and create holistic solutions partnering with technical program managers and engineers to deliver on product roadmap.
  • Own the launch and release plans, collaborating with Account Managers, Business teams, executive stakeholders, etc. to ensure proper prioritization of product features.
  • Strategically and tactically own product development for Blackhawk's world class proprietary Billing & Settlement platform for any BHN payment products and solutions (Prepaid - Open Loop, Closed Loop, Digital and Incentive products.)
  • Define and ship products in an iterative manner, with a hands-on willingness to do whatever it takes from an execution perspective.
  • Transform product strategy into well-articulated product requirements, as well as using qualitative and quantitative data effectively to inform product direction and prioritization.
  • Communicate clearly with well-defined ability to handle both executive-level discussions as well as functional / technical deep dives.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant technical product management experience.
  • Specific domain experience building products in Billing, Accounting, Payments (including International) and Reconciliation. Additionally, Pricing/Rating, Contracts, Tax, Currency, experience is a plus.
  • Experience in managing end to end product launches.
  • Usage of Scrum/Agile methodologies.
  • Expert in writing Technical and Product Specs / Use case flows.
  • Positive attitude, and a collaborative approach towards problem solving.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills with strong technical abilities.
