- Hardware platform strategy and validation
- Silicon ecosystem engagement
- GPU / accelerator strategy and monetization
You will operate at the intersection of software platforms, hardware architecture, and semiconductor partnerships, ensuring that Lynx solutions are delivered on the right platforms, optimized for performance and certification, and positioned for commercial success. The ideal candidate combines strong execution discipline with systems-level thinking across HW + SW + silicon.
Key Responsibilities
1) Product Strategy, Roadmap & Execution
Own and maintain multi-release hardware enablement product roadmaps across Edge platforms (CoreSuite, MOSA.ic, MOSA.ic.AI, Linux).
Translate company strategy and market requirements into actionable engineering backlogs balancing between:
- Hardware enablement timelines
- Technical debt and platform evolution
- Certification and regulatory requirements
Drive roadmap reviews with executive leadership and engineering.
2) Hardware Platform Strategy & Enablement
Define and own hardware platform strategy across Lynx product portfolio. Select and prioritize:
- CPU architectures (x86, ARM, etc.)
- GPU / accelerator platforms
- Reference boards and ODM systems
Evaluate tradeoffs across:
- Performance and determinism
- Power, thermal, and ruggedization constraints
- Security features (TPM, secure boot, roots of trust)
- Longevity and supply assurance
Own and maintain the Reference List of Supported Platforms
3) Reference Platforms & Validation
Define criteria for selecting and validating hardware platforms.
Ensure platforms are production-ready and repeatable across customers.
4) Semiconductor & Ecosystem Partnerships
Serve as primary product interface with semiconductor vendors such as Intel, AMD, ARM ecosystem, NXP, GPU providers
Align Lynx roadmap with silicon roadmaps.
Evaluate next-generation silicon for:
- AI / accelerator capabilities
Drive:
- Joint validation and go-to-market initiatives
5) GPU & Accelerator Strategy (Revenue & Packaging)
Own GPU and accelerator strategy across the portfolio:
- Platform selection and configuration matrices
- Alignment with target workloads (AI, signal processing, visualization)
Define commercial approach including:
- GPU socket strategy, pricing and margin for Lynx
- Licensing and attach models
Partner with Sales and Finance to:
- Increase revenue per deployment
- Capture value through platform alignment
6) DTR Screening & System Qualification
Lead structured intake and evaluation of Dynamic Temperature Range strategy and execution
Assess feasibility across:
- Environmental requirements
Define qualification plans, validation criteria, and risk assessments.
7) ODM, Supply Chain & Lifecycle Management
Act as product lead for ODM and semiconductor hardware vendor engagement.
Drive:
- Tradeoffs across cost, performance, and availability
Partner with Operations and Finance on:
- GPU and silicon allocation risks
Manage lifecycle from introduction through EOL.
8) Cross-Functional Alignment
Partner with:
- Product Management – your team managing the Lynx software portfolio
- Engineering – architecture, performance, safety, hardware enablement
- Sales & BD – customer requirements, platform deals
- Marketing – messaging and solution positioning
- Finance – ROI, pricing, and investment decisions
Support customer escalations requiring technical or roadmap clarity.
