GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE POSITION:

The Product Manager, Digital Products’ role is part of the ICC Content and Services Digital Solutions Product Management team and is responsible for leading product management activities for the ICC Codification Business Unit.  The primary goal of this position is to maintain and expand the ICC Codification digital products portfolio, working with Business Unit leaders to define, approve, and implement product plans that align to the overall companies’ digital strategy. The successful applicant for this position will demonstrate product management expertise and a strong technical aptitude in a content-centric environment and will possess a keen desire to have a meaningful impact in a values-based, team-oriented business environment.


ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES OR TASKS PERFORMED:

  • Support Business Unit digital priorities in the planning and execution of all aspects of product management.
  • Provide input on the technology, development, and infrastructure priorities in concert with Business Unit leaders. 
  • Manage a detailed Business Unit product roadmap.
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure seamless delivery of products and features within the lifecycle of existing products.
  • Analyze market needs and provide reports and recommendations to Business Unit leaders.
  • Lead ideation process & product life cycle for new business cases & new features and functionality.
  • Create viable written product commercialization plans for new products, with an emphasis on annual recurring revenue strategies.
  • Coordinate UAT and product launch activities cross functionally for both new products and enhancements to existing products.
  • Define value proposition and sets mapping process for future enhancements.
  • Monitor KPIs and reports to support product improvements and revenue growth.
  • Understand the Business Unit goals, strategies, philosophy, and profitability objectives, and work within and toward those objectives.


Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND KEY COMPETENCIES:

  • Education: BA or BS in business or related field, MBA a plus
  • Advanced Certifications a plus: Product Management, Project Management (PMI), Agile Framework.
  • Experience: 5-10 years’ experience in product management/development.
  • Demonstrated experience successfully launching new digital products; experience with refactoring products of adapting products to new markets a plus.
  • Strong commercial insight into the GovTech or Building and Construction industry a plus.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of current industry practices, trends and opportunities. 
  • Ability to identify MVP requirements and iterate quickly to validate ideas or fail fast.
  • Ability to translate strategies into objectives and action plans with measurable outcomes. 
  • Ability to communicate at all levels of business and demonstrate exceptional time management and organizational acumen.
  • Approximately 20 % travel involved.

This is an office environment with a moderate noise level. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand while reading and typing on a computer.
