Job Purpose
This position owns the retail customer-facing product category including all photo kiosks solutions and retail ID photography systems. This position will drive and manage the life cycle for development and deliver end-user focused, profitable products. The role emphasizes product management, project management, and business operations in addition to product definition and technical product development.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee the full functionality and performance of photo fulfillment systems used in retail settings.
- Manage the complete product lifecycle, including vision, strategy, roadmaps, requirements, development, deployment, sustainment, and end-of-life.
- Serve as the central point of communication for product issues, collaborating with sales, marketing, engineering, configuration management, information development, quality assurance, and customer support teams.
- Build a deep understanding of retail customers, end users, and competitors to ensure the success and longevity of new and evolving products.
- Define and deliver software requirements, with clear prioritization of features, use cases, and workflows.
- Develop and manage tailored solutions for retailers and market segments, including hardware components, configurations, and both internal and third-party solutions.
- Lead customer integration, field trials and product rollouts; including on-site participation when needed.
- Assume project management duties as necessary to maintain project schedules and communicate schedules to Marketing and Sales
- Conduct training for marketing, sales and technical support
- Travel as required for tradeshows and customer facing activities
- Ensure that DNP remains innovative and customer focused
Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years prior Product Management work experience
- Strong technical background; must be eager to dig into the details and have a comprehensive understanding of software and hardware internals
- Effective cross-organizational leader and team player
- Self-directed and motivated
- Ability to manage multiple new projects while managing sustainment issues on existing products
- Excellent written and verbal communication and facilitation skills across functions and groups
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and learn on the fly – a strong “can-do” attitude
- Position is located in Concord, NC
Desired:
- Technical and business education preferred (Bachelors in a technical field plus an MBA is ideal)
- Experience in Agile software development process
- Experience with digital imaging product technology, photo, print and/or color management
Physical Demands
- Must be able to sit/stand for 8 hours
- The ability to use arms/hands/fingers to feel and reach
- Must be able to hear and talk to communicate with internal/external customers
- Ability to work in an office setting, and spend primary working hours at a desk using a computer and other office equipment such as printers, copiers, postage machines, etc.

The hiring range for this position is $90,000 to $110,000 per year. This range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications.
