Join ProAg as an MPCI Product Manager
ProAg is seeking a strategic Multi-Peril Crop Insurance (MPCI) Product Manager to lead the development and management of our crop insurance product portfolio. This role is focuses on product management for MPCI and Livestock Programs for agents and growers, with a strong emphasis on alignment with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Risk Management Agency (RMA) guidelines.
As the MPCI Product Manager, you’ll:
- Product Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement go-to-market strategies that drive product adoption, growth, and profitability. Lead the vision of the user experience within the area of responsibility, ensuring outcomes are linked to business case drivers.
- Portfolio Management: Oversee the MPCI product portfolio, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
- Business Case Development: Responsible for the analysis of information and formulation of product solutions and strategies for overall strategy alignment.
- Product Line lifecycle: Develop, define, and oversee the product’s roadmap and manage it as required for the purpose of meeting deliverables for the business
- Industry Expertise: Stay current on USDA RMA policies and crop insurance trends to inform product decisions. Implement regulation changes into strategic planning. Formalize assessment of policy language changes and impacts to ProAg; determine the impact of those changes on and coordinate cross-functionally with Training, Sales, UW, Claims, Compliance, and Legal to ensure consistency and organizational dissemination
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams across marketing, sales, claims, and digital product management to support product success.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience, ideally in product management within crop insurance or related fields.
- Bachelor’s degree in Product Management, Agriculture, Business, a related field, or the equivalent education and/or experience.
- Strategic thinker with a product mindset and strong analytical skills.
- Enjoy creative solutions and pushing the boundaries while being analytical and data-driven in all decisions.
- Proven success as a decision-maker in a collaborative, highly matrixed environment with multiple direct and indirect reporting structures throughout the organization.
- Experience in both B2B and B2B2C digital product delivery
- Agile and curious, with a passion for uncovering insights and driving innovation.
- Excellent communicator and collaborator across diverse teams.
