The Microsoft Solutions Product Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing the customer's suite of Microsoft-based products and services, such as Microsoft 365, and Azure solutions. This role requires close collaboration with technical, sales, and customer success teams to ensure that these solutions align with customer requirements, deliver value, and support the company’s business objectives. The Product Manager will drive the product strategy, roadmap, and execution of Microsoft solutions, with a focus on both customer satisfaction and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy and Roadmap Development:
- Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Microsoft solutions within the Managed IT Services portfolio.
- Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive offerings to shape the product roadmap and strategic direction.
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop new Microsoft-based solutions that meet evolving customer requirements and industry standards.
- Align product strategy with company goals, focusing on maximizing revenue potential and customer adoption.
Solution Design and Development:
- Collaborate with engineering, development, and technical teams to define the architecture and technical requirements for Microsoft solutions.
- Design, Implement, test and deploy Microsoft based solutions
- Ensure that solutions leverage the latest Microsoft technologies, such as Microsoft 365, Azure, Power Platform, and Dynamics 365, as well as Microsoft security and compliance features.
- Oversee the integration of Microsoft solutions with other Managed IT Service offerings to provide a cohesive customer experience.
- Manage the product lifecycle, including planning, development, launch, and continuous improvement.
- Identify and resolve solutions bugs and performance issues in collaboration with development teams.
Requirements Gathering and Documentation:
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to gather insights and identify unmet needs.
- Define and document product requirements, use cases, and technical specifications in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Maintain a clear and organized backlog of product requirements and prioritize them based on business value, customer demand, and technical feasibility.
Sales Enablement and Customer Education:
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop product positioning, messaging, and sales collateral for Microsoft solutions.
- Provide training and support to the sales team on Microsoft solutions, including features, benefits, and use cases.
- Work with the customer success team to develop educational materials, webinars, and training sessions for customers.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Microsoft solutions, supporting sales efforts and addressing customer inquiries.
Project Management and Execution:
- Oversee the solution development lifecycle, from concept and design to launch and post-launch optimization.
- Prioritize tasks and manage the backlog in collaboration with development teams, balancing scope, resources, budget and timelines.
- Track and manage project milestones, ensuring timely delivery of features and updates.
- Act as a point of contact between development, QA, and other cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. An MBA or relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are a plus.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on Microsoft solutions or a related field.
- Technical Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft 365, Azure, Power Platform, Microsoft SQL, and Dynamics 365.
- Strong understanding of product management processes and Agile development methodologies.
- Analytical Skills: Proficient in data analysis, market research, and financial modeling, with experience in metrics tracking and reporting.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Project Management Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and drive project execution in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Certifications in Microsoft technologies, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals.
- Experience working with Microsoft’s partner ecosystem and knowledge of Microsoft Partner Network benefits.
- A background in sales or customer success within a Managed IT Services context is advantageous.

- Achievement of revenue and profitability targets for Microsoft-based services.
- Positive feedback from customers and stakeholders on the usability and effectiveness of Microsoft solutions.
- Effective alignment of the Microsoft solutions roadmap with customer needs and market trends.
- High level of cross-functional collaboration and strong relationships with Microsoft partners.
