As a member of the IT eCommerce team, the IT Product Manager is responsible for driving the strategic vision, development, and execution of digital solutions (Johnstonesupply.com, Johnstone Supply Mobile App, etc.) in alignment with the organization's Digital Strategy.

This position must be based in our Dallas, Texas; or Portland, Oregon offices and has a hybrid work schedule of at least 2 days per week in the office.
Position responsibilities:
- Drives the development and execution of digital solutions aligned with the organization's Digital Strategy.
- Defines and prioritizes product initiatives to ensure solutions deliver maximum business value.
- Defines product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market opportunities.
- Collaborates cross-functionally to develop and execute ideas through all aspects of the digital solution life cycle, including design, development, and implementation.
- Owns and manages the product backlog, ensuring continuous refinement and alignment with business objectives and stakeholder insights.
- Engages with stakeholders to gather business requirements and align product development with organizational goals.
- Leverages industry insights to enhance customer experience and drive business growth through digital solutions.
- Improves business adoption and effective utilization of eCommerce solutions across the enterprise, driving growth and customer engagement.
- Guides product selection initiatives, facilitating structured evaluations of build-or-buy options and third-party vendor solutions.
- Develops and documents comprehensive business cases to assess the costs and benefits of proposed solutions.
Position requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) from a four-year college or university; at least 10 years of relevant experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience leading and driving teams through the software and application solution definition and selection process for new enterprise level solutions for at least 10 years in a variety of systems areas.
- Experience working independently with executive level leadership to define formalized business cases on at least five significant enterprise solution efforts.
- At least 3 years of experience leading or overseeing teams of Business Analysts, Product Managers, and/or Product Analysts to define and deliver business and system requirements implementing new solutions and applications.
- Ability in facilitating the scope and high-level business requirements definitions workshops involving groups of at least 10 participants; including facilitating teams or groups of manager-level participants.
- Ability to research software solution offerings including marketplace research, evaluations, and formal vendor scorecard evaluations on at least five significant enterprise system solutions.
- Ability to define requirements using multiple software methodologies (i.e., Agile, Pragmatic, Waterfall, etc.).
- Ability to utilize a wide range of best practice requirements modeling techniques (i.e., Context Diagramming, Conceptual Object Modeling, Sequence Diagrams, State modeling, Domain Modeling).
- Ability to provide written requirements specifications to third-party or offshore development teams.
