What We’re Looking For

Trillium Health Resources is looking for an Agile Product Manager to work with quality services, product services and project services to establish and maintain overall Trillium applications delivery vision. The Agile Product Manager is responsible for and manages the overall applications product backlog, prioritizing stories according to changing business needs. This position is responsible for the hands- on management of the Product Services team and Project Services team, including involvement in every area of the team’s core responsibilities and defined competencies.

 

On a typical day, you might:

  • Develop a rapport with all department leaders to establish business and leadership competence.
  • Drive development and delivery using Agile Scrum methodology.
  • Facilitate workflow using TFS/Agile process and techniques.
  • Responsible in participating in and facilitating (when needed) daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo and retrospective meetings.
  • Knowledge about tasks, backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, user stories.
  • Use experience with estimation and planning to create useful, reliable and practical plans for software development projects.
  • Coach staff in Agile practices and coaches’ individuals regarding processes and tools.
  • Provide direct supervision and guidance to staff, including oversight of daily activities, performance management, and professional development.

Qualifications

 

Required:

  • Associate’s degree and three (3) years of experience in project-based work structures, application lifecycle models, or software development. OR
  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum one (1) year of experience in project-based work structures, application lifecycle models, or software development. OR
  • Equivalent combination of education/experience.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must reside within United States

 

Preferred:

  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • Prefer experience in any of the following areas: healthcare claims environment and applications development, demonstrated experience in SDLC, ALM, and SQL.   Knowledge of Project Management principles and agile methodologies, and the ownership of product portfolio. 
  • Supervision of two (2) or more employees preferred or acting in a lead role position for at least one (1) year.
  • Microsoft applications certifications MTA, MCSA, MCSD or equivalent certifications desired.
