Role Summary

URBN is seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior Product Manager to lead the evolution of our Retail Allocation Systems. This role is instrumental in leading the implementation and ongoing management of the Allocation & Replenishment module within the o9 platform. You will bridge business stakeholders, technology teams, and vendor partners to ensure the solution delivers measurable value to our global merchandising, planning, and allocation functions. This is a high-impact role with dedicated ownership of a critical digital transformation, supporting users across multiple brands & regions.

Role Responsibilities

  • Strategic Roadmap: Serve as the primary product manager for the module, owning the product roadmap, backlog, and prioritization.
  • Stakeholder Partnership: Collaborate with Planning, Allocation, Merchandising, and Supply Chain stakeholders to gather requirements, define user stories, and translate business needs into technical deliverables.
  • Implementation Leadership: Drive the initial implementation in partnership with o9 and internal technology resources.
  • Change Management: Lead the massive change management effort required for o9 adoption, including coordinating testing, training, and documentation.
  • Lifecycle Management: Provide post-implementation support, triaging issues, managing release cycles, and preventing technical debt to ensure long-term platform sustainability.

  • Future Scaling: Build organizational capability to scale o9 across future areas such as Supply Planning, Factory Capacity Planning, and Materials Management.
  • Advanced Analytics & AI Enablement: In addition to core product ownership responsibilities, this role will proactively explore and champion the use of advanced technologies — including AI and automation — across the full product lifecycle. From intelligent requirements gathering and user story refinement, to predictive insights during configuration and testing, to AI-driven monitoring and optimization post–go-live, this individual will identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve decision quality, and accelerate value realization.

Role Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, or related retail technology roles.
  • 5+ years specifically focused on retail technology, with a deep understanding of planning, allocation, and inventory management processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • Platform Expertise: Hands-on experience with enterprise planning platforms (o9 preferred; JDA/Blue Yonder, Oracle Retail, Anaplan, or SAP a plus).
  • Iterative Delivery: Experience in agile delivery methodologies and leading technology projects from conception to implementation.
  • Communication: Excellent ability to collaborate across technical and business teams, translating complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Analytical Rigor: Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to high-quality solutions that meet strict business requirements.
