Position Description:

CGI is seeking a Technical Product Manager to help our client build and enhance applications that support their primary mission services. We need a leader who has managed development efforts involving multiple stakeholders and can clearly communicate with client leadership and technical architects. The ideal candidate must be able to adapt quickly and incorporate new priorities based on evolving Federal policies.

This position is located in our Fairfax, VA office; however a hybrid working model is acceptable. You will be required to be in our Fairfax, VA office a minimum of two days per week.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Work with client leadership to capture business initiatives and translate them into a product roadmap
• Build and manage a product roadmap
• Lead product definition discussions and document business requirements, process flows, and business rules
• Manage and mentor junior staff members contributing to this product line
• Provide direction during daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint demos, and other Agile ceremonies
• Work closely with business analysts, technical architects, and subject matter experts to understand requirements and translate them into epics and stories within JIRA
• Participate in design meetings with other projects and the client’s technical specialists
• Collaborate with other Agile teams to effectively design, build, and deliver cloud-based solutions
• Work with other teams to coordinate integration testing across multiple (more than three) teams

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 10+ years of experience in the Information Technology field, focusing on business architecture analysis and UX/UI design
• 5+ years of experience building business process models, writing acceptance criteria, and designing user interfaces for a production system
• 2+ years of experience leading Agile development teams or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Release Trains
• Certified Scrum Master or equivalent SAFe certification
• Ability to work with clients, end users, and technical architects to build well‑defined product plans and Agile epics
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Strong communication skills

Desired qualifications:
• Strong Excel skills
• Familiarity with SQL
• Familiarity with JSON and Application Programming Interface (API) definitions

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $113,400.00 - $218,200.00.
