Join us! GoFundMe is seeking a commercially savvy, Staff Product Manager who will own the NPO onboarding and subscription packaging product strategy and experience to support a value-based journey for nonprofits using our platform. You will build and scale the product mechanics including how we design tiers, price functionality, build the product guidance and discovery framing and help nonprofits move up the value curve — all while growing revenue and enabling both product-led and sales-led growth motions. You’ll work closely with Product, Design, Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Data Science to drive outcomes that balance user experience with business growth. This role will be part of the product management team and will ideate, develop and launch products that drive value to millions of people.
This is a hybrid role that requires 3 days per week at the office, and we are prioritizing candidates who are located or willing to relocate to San Francisco, CA.
The Job…
- Drive and lead strategic product initiatives, with significant visibility into the company leadership and make meaningful impact in the company and the greater market.
- Responsible for all stages of product development and delivery, including: ideation, research, business modeling, technical specifications, building, launching, measuring, optimizing and scaling. Some of the work will focus on brand new products/features and other aspects will include optimization and growth of existing products.
- Customer Focus: Be the advocate for our non for profit customers.
- Intuition & Judgement: Break down sophisticated challenges into a clear sequence of actions, make trade-off decisions while balancing the nuances of implementation details and time-to-market needs, and get on board cross-functional teams.
- Data-informed decision-making: Use qualitative and quantitative analysis to drive product and go-to-market decisions.
- Product Ownership: accountable for product vision, Cost / ROI analysis, strategy, development, and successful execution of new product initiatives and features to drive IMPACT. Lead the team through defining, identifying and tracking appropriate product and business metrics that are aligned with user goals.
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with engineering, design, data, research, marketing, security, legal, and other teams to build out an amazing product.
- Communication: Articulate the problem you’re solving, the vision you are going after, write crisp and clear requirements and communicate the strategy, plan, challenges and constraints to senior management and various collaborators.
- Own the non for profit onboarding and subscription packaging product strategy and roadmap, feature gating, and upgrade paths across PLG, SLG, and PSLG motions.
- Collaborate on pricing & packaging system definition with PMM, GTM and Finance teams to design a tiered subscription model that captures value and grows revenue
- Define & track PQLs (Product-Qualified Leads): Partner with Data & Marketing to create trigger-based segmentation and lifecycle routing rules to Product, CX, Sales.
- Design for conversion loops: Shape the product experience to show value, nudge commitment, and create FOMO through growth mechanics

- Required: You have 5+ years of experience as a product manager, delivering impact at your positions with progressing responsibility and ownership. You have a consistent track record in building, launching and scaling successful products
- Growth experience in PLG , PSLG, SLG, and their systematic layering
- Demonstrated success in pricing, packaging, or monetization strategy — especially subscription or freemium models in collaboration with GTM.
- Strong grasp of conversion metrics, growth loops, and customer lifecycle design.
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and driving cross-functional and stakeholder alignment across PM <> GTM ensuring great product build and market adoption
- Systems thinker with an eye for instrumentation and feedback loops.
- Required: Hands-on experience working closely with customers, analyzing their needs, diving deep into consumer behaviour, industry trends and collaborating with the research teams.
- Able to operate independently, multi-task, manage ambiguity and able to perform well at a fast pace and under pressure.
- Strong communicator with the ability to bring people together to define a common vision and plan for action, present to senior leadership and drive delivery tracks.
- Humility, willingness to listen, collaborate and iterate.

The total annual salary for this full-time position is $181,000 - $235,000 + equity + benefits. As this is a hybrid position, the salary range was determined by role, level, and possible location across the US. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
