Job Overview
We are seeking a strategic and technically fluent Senior Product Manager, Technical - Revenue & Accounting Technology, to lead the evolution of our enterprise Accounting Technology platforms.

This role sits within our T-Mobile’s IT organization, at the intersection of Accounting, Finance, and Engineering and owns the product strategy for T-Mobile’s centralized revenue and lease accounting platforms — including our Snowflake-based revenue subledger that powers journal entry generation and financial reporting at scale.

This role supports our enterprise-critical platform responsible for ensuring that complex, high-volume financial transactions are accurately processed, compliant, scalable, and trusted across the organization.

You will serve as the primary “front door” to our platform for T-Mobile enterprise initiatives impacting revenue recognition and lease accounting, translating business strategy into scalable, resilient financial system solutions.

  • You will be partner closely with our Engineering Team to ensure delivery for critical capabilities and features

Job Responsibilities:

Platform Strategy & Roadmap

  • Define and evolve the multi-year roadmap for the centralized revenue and lease accounting platforms
  • Prioritize initiatives across modernization, automation, scalability, and technical debt reduction
  • Balance new enterprise initiatives with platform stability and close-cycle reliability
  • Lead tradeoff discussions when unplanned, high-priority initiatives impact capacity

Financial Systems Modernization

  • Drive modernization of our Snowflake-based revenue subledger and supporting financial data architecture
  • Ensure scalable integration of multiple revenue streams into a consolidated subledger model
  • Strengthen data resilience, monitoring, and platform observability
  • Enable trusted, self-service data access without increasing ad hoc support burden

Enterprise Finance Partnership

  • Partner directly with Director and VP-level stakeholders across Accounting, FP&A, and Tax
  • Translate accounting policy and regulatory requirements into technical product requirements
  • Influence cross-functional prioritization decisions across Finance, Engineering, Architecture, Security, and Audit
  • Embed SOX and compliance considerations into product design and delivery

Technical Product Leadership

  • Write clear functional specifications and guide engineering delivery
  • Review and challenge architectural designs with informed technical perspective
  • Leverage SQL and data fluency to interrogate data flows and validate assumptions
  • Introduce practical AI-driven solutions (e.g., revenue explainability, anomaly insights) where appropriate

Team Leadership & Influence

  • Provide senior-level guidance and mentorship to other Product Managers
  • Operate with high autonomy in roadmap decisions while aligning to defined outcomes
  • Drive clarity in ambiguous or high-stakes situations


Education and Work Experience

  • Bachelors Degree plus 7+ years of related work experience (Product Management preferred) OR Advanced degree with 5 years of related experience (Required)
  • Acceptable areas of study include Computer Science, Engineering, IT or equivalent experience. (Required)
  • 7+ years of relevant Product Management experience in an agile software product development environment. Advanced level understanding of customer experience.
  • Direct experience with enterprise financial systems (ERP, subledger, accounting platforms) – required
  • Experience working in large, complex enterprise environments
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle and/or SAP
  • Experience with modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake)
  • Comfort writing functional specifications and reviewing technical architecture
  • Working knowledge of SQL and financial data structures
  • Experience operating in SOX-controlled or regulated financial environments
  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading financial systems modernization initiatives.
  • Exposure to revenue recognition or lease accounting platforms.
  • Experience leveraging AI to enable efficiency or explainability use cases
  • CPA or strong accounting background
  • Experience in telecommunications or similarly complex, high-transaction industries

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Scrum Product Owner Certification (CSPO) (Preferred)
  • Other Technical Certification Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) (Preferred)

  • At least 18 years of age

Base Pay Range: $130,900 - $236,200

Corporate Bonus Target: 20%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
