What You'll Do

The Sr. Product Manager is a strategic and execution-focused role with responsibility for managing network products and team operations. This person will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ideate, plan, and deliver solutions that optimize operational efficiency and business value. This role combines product management, user research, market understanding, financial oversight, and agile delivery leadership to ensure successful execution of strategic projects. This role also engages in identifying and driving the development of new, innovative products.  The role demands the ability to understand complex technical systems, apply strong critical thinking skills, and influence cross functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Ownership & Execution

  • Define and maintain a roadmap for new Pharmacy Network Products like Smart Hop and other initiatives.
  • Manage the product lifecycle through ideation, testing, launch and growth. 
  • Translate business needs into actionable technical requirements and user stories.
  • Champion continuous improvement and innovation through workshops and ideation sessions. 

Technical Collaboration

  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure feasibility, scalability, and alignment with architectural standards. 
  • Participate in sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives to promote on-time delivery. 
  • Understand APIs, data models, and system integrations to guide development. 

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Builds strong, trust-based relationships with stakeholders, including engineering, design, external partners, other business units, and executive leadership, to ensure alignment on product goals and priorities. 
  • Regularly uses immediate customer feedback loops, incorporating customer & user feedback into the prioritization of current product feature expansion, and new product development. 
  • Support customer discovery and usability testing to inform product decisions. 

Project and Financial Management

  • Assist in financial planning and tracking for the team, including budget adherence and ROI analysis.
  • Monitor project KPIs, risks, and resource allocation; report progress to leadership. 

Documentation & Communication

  • Create and maintain product documentation, including technical specs, release notes, and user guides. 
  • Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies to cross-functional teams. 
  • Develop and socialize product roadmaps, decision logs, and rationale to ensure transparency and alignment across teams. 
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer and continuity by documenting key product decisions, architectural trade-offs, and lessons learned for future reference and onboarding. 

Minimum Requirement:

Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience

  

Critical Skills

  • 7+ years of professional experience in progressively advancing product management roles with an understanding on research, customer testing methods, data needs for products, analytics and AI. 
  • 5+ years proven experience working with and influencing highly matrixed teams. 
  • Hands-on experience in health care industry and/or regulated environment is a plus 
  • Demonstrated understanding of product technical product lifecycle management, agile methodologies, and digital transformation. 
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Additional Skills:

  • 4+ years' experience building business cases. 
  • The following (or similar) certifications are optional but advantageous: Certified Product Manager (CPM); SAFe, etc.
