This role offers the opportunity to drive growth and adoption of specialized HVAC products by partnering with distributors, developers, architects, and engineers. You will be responsible for building strong relationships, providing product and application training, and ensuring exceptional post-sales satisfaction. This position involves developing and executing growth strategies, representing the organization at industry events, and collaborating with internal teams to support mutual goals. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and capable of balancing multiple priorities while traveling extensively to meet clients and partners. Remote work is supported, with significant travel required within the assigned region.
Accountabilities:
- Develop and execute growth plans within a defined geographic region, targeting both new and existing distributors and design community partners.
- Build and maintain relationships with independent distributors, developers, architects, and engineers to drive sales of specified HVAC products.
- Represent the organization at industry functions to cultivate new business opportunities and partnerships.
- Deliver product and application training to support customer success and promote product adoption.
- Ensure high post-sales satisfaction and foster long-term relationships to maximize repeat business potential.
- Collaborate with internal departments and other sales team members to align strategies and support mutual growth.
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, sales, or related HVAC field.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to assess customer needs and deliver solutions.
- Experience with marketing strategy, product promotion, demonstrations, and sales control systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to adopt CRM software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced knowledge of HVAC/R products preferred; experience in a two-step distribution model a plus.
- Remote position with approximately 60% travel; residence in Idaho, Oregon, or West Coast preferred.
Benefits- Competitive total compensation range: $117,000 to $153,000 (70% base salary / 30% commission). Guaranteed minimum target commission for the first six months.
