Accountabilities:
- Understand the real-time analytics and cloud database markets, including competitors and emerging technology trends.
- Engage with open-source community members and cloud customers to gather insights on current and future use cases.
- Prioritize and translate feature requests and issues into actionable product development goals.
- Collaborate with engineering to scope solutions for core database and cloud platform improvements.
- Define and measure success metrics to ensure product features meet customer needs.
- Monitor market dynamics and adjust the roadmap to stay competitive and aligned with user demands.
- Work with partners to increase product visibility and adoption.
Requirements - Strong knowledge of data engineering domains such as data warehousing, analytics, business intelligence, and observability.
- Visionary understanding of market trends and leadership requirements in data platform spaces.
- Experience with ClickHouse or similar OLAP technologies, including advanced SQL proficiency.
- Background in managing open-source projects or products preferred.
- Ability to build enterprise-grade features that balance power and usability.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable with public speaking and stakeholder influence without direct authority.
- Adaptability in ambiguous, fast-evolving business contexts.
- Customer- and community-focused with technical advisory capabilities.
