The Senior Product Manager at Pocket Prep will develop our early-stage Enterprise product, Instructor Dashboard. This is an exciting opportunity for those with an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for creating great products that support workforce educators. Our goal is to set educators up for success, providing a product that helps them reach their goal of getting their students certified.
You will collaborate in a squad with talented partners in design and engineering to uncover opportunities, generate creative solutions, and test the best ideas through focused experiments. You’ll become an expert in our customers' needs and market trends, working alongside the VP of Product to shape our strategic roadmap. You’ll manage project lifecycles, keep stakeholders informed, and analyze performance post-launch to ensure continuous improvement. Establish the product strategy for Instructor Dashboard, building alignment across product teams, cross-functional stakeholders, and the senior leadership team
Drive the development of new product features for Instructor Dashboard through the entire creative cycle: ideation, specification, development, release, performance analysis, and iteration
Own the licensed student experience on the Study product; collaborate with the Study PM to ensure alignment and cohesion
Partner to shape enterprise pricing and packaging
Maintain the product roadmap and keep the company informed on all things related to your projects.
Collaborate with the PM team to evolve our systems and processes for ultimate effectiveness and clarity
Foster a deep understanding of our customer’s needs, pain points, and desires
Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the competitive landscape
Conduct internal training with Customer Success and Product Marketing to ensure our customers understand how the product works and when important feature updates should be communicated
Identify, monitor, and report on product KPIs and health metrics that help inform product strategy
Join the Maintenance Team to support pitch review, backlog grooming, and bug triage
We’re looking for someone who has the following:
Required
A passion for technology and education
At least 5 years in a product management or similar role
Ability to utilize user insights, data, and statistical analyses to inform decisions
Strong business acumen
Ability to balance the needs of sales, marketing, and customer success while staying true to building a product customers love
Preferred
Experience working on a data visualization or EdTech product
Strong familiarity with the Atlassian suite
Located in the Durham, NC area
