Job Description

Job Title: Senior Product Manager

 

Job Summary: The Senior Product Manager will manage direct insurance programs, focusing on product development, pricing, and compliance with state laws. This role involves leading cross-functional teams, ensuring consistency across states, and overseeing new product development and system implementation.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the development and submission of rate, rule, and form filings - ensuring compliance with regulatory and market changes.
  • Coordinate responses to Insurance Department inquiries and communicate changes to internal teams.
  • Oversee product development and expansion into new states and lines.
  • Provide guidance on program rules, rates, and forms to internal teams.
  • Develop data reports to track program trends and KPIs, ensuring data accuracy.
  • Validate system programming and ensure consistency with requirements.
  • Act as the product department point person for audits and inquiries.
  • Participate in staff onboarding and technical development.

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 7+ years in product development/management, especially in catastrophe-prone states.
  • Experience in managing personal and commercial property lines.
  • Ability to develop new products, modify existing ones, and train staff.
  • Strong teamwork, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs and make critical decisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • CPCU designation or equivalent required.
