Who You Are
We’re on a mission to accelerate productivity, insight, and decision-making using the power of generative AI. Our platform leverages multiple data sources along with intelligent layers that integrate seamlessly with existing tools our clients use to enhance user experience, automate routine tasks, and unlock a single pane of glass in the Security space.As a Senior Product Manager – AI Products, you’ll play a pivotal role in creating powerful AI capabilities, accelerating Ontic’s AI first approach through strategic roadmap and execution.
Responsibilities
Own the AI first roadmap: Drive the roadmap and execution of AI-powered interfaces and automation layers that sit atop existing systems and workflows.
Identify High-Impact Use Cases: Partner with clients, designers, and internal teams to uncover moments where generative AI can boost productivity, reduce friction, or automate decision-making.
Design End-to-End Experiences: Shape AI-driven user journeys—from prompts and natural language inputs to safe, explainable outputs.
Collaborate with AI/ML Teams: Work closely with prompt engineers, LLM researchers, and backend engineers to ensure seamless technical integration with foundational systems.
Prioritize Safely and Responsibly: Balance velocity with responsible AI practices, considering bias, hallucination risk, and transparency.
Define Success Metrics: Set and track success criteria across usability, adoption, engagement, and business impact.
Bridge the Gap: Translate between non-technical stakeholders and technical teams to ensure clarity and momentum in development
Preferred Qualifications
5–8 years of product management experience, including at least 1–2 years in AI/ML product development
Experience building wrapper-style or augmentation-focused products (e.g., AI assistants, copilots, auto-summary tools)
Strong understanding of LLMs, prompt design, RAG (retrieval augmented generation), and vector embeddings
Comfort working with backend systems, APIs, and multi-system integrations
Obsession with UX simplicity, speed-to-value, and practical AI outcomes
Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills
Experience with open-source or commercial LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Cohere, etc.)
Knowledge of vector databases, orchestration frameworks (LangChain, Semantic Kernel), or agent frameworks
Exposure to enterprise workflows in Security vertical
Familiarity with regulatory considerations around AI/ML (e.g., GDPR, AI Act)
