The Opportunity
As a Product Manager, you will shape the foundation of our Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure (NCI) stack, our core hypervisor (AHV) and our virtual machine features. AHV powers 82% of customer workloads at Nutanix and is central to our hybrid multi-cloud strategy. This role is pivotal in driving the roadmap areas for both AHV and for End User Computing (EUC) solutions, including being the product management lead for our strategic partnerships with Citrix and Omnissa.
You’ll lead product strategy, define key features, and collaborate across engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success to deliver a world-class experience for our customers. We are seeking someone with a superior track record in product management with direct prior PM experience, showcasing past analytical and strategic skills, and someone who showcases superior business judgement.

You will report to the Director of Product Management, who is committed to nurturing a supportive atmosphere that empowers team members to excel. The work setup is hybrid, requiring you to come into our San Jose HQ three days a week, with the flexibility to work remotely the remaining two days. This model provides a balance that fosters in-person collaboration while accommodating your individual needs. Additionally, there may be occasional travel requirements for team meetings, conferences, or client engagements, which will provide you with opportunities to connect with colleagues and partners across different locations.

Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. For most roles, that will mean coming into an office a minimum of 3 days per week, however certain roles and/or teams may require more frequent in-office presence. Additional team-specific guidance and norms will be provided by your manager.
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 156,000 and USD $ 310,800 per year.
However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
