The Senior Product Manager, as a unique subject matter expert and seasoned professional brings a
mastery of knowledge, leadership, and design within the function of product management. They own a product line and develop new products from the ground up to build and execute the delivery of measurable and ROI approved new product solutions. They own their portfolio and manage the long-
term strategic roadmap for RapidResponse. Their work is integrated into all product categories and they
are responsible for creating the strategy and the business plan to secure investment in a new product area, define the market needs, marketing strategies, and they conduct the “evangelist” role as the
Product Manager, Principal to let the world know what has been built for the industry and to support
marketing activities.
The incumbent is responsible for establishing new market strategy (retail, O&G, commodities), vision, strategy, financial success, pricing, and distribution for product lines. This includes but is not limited to development of a product portfolio and packaging, accountable for partner health, for customer acquisitions and financial health, pricing, thought leadership, marketing plan, buying process and conducting win/loss analysis. They develop the financial business plan for BBP opportunities that they are accountable for and present this to the Executive Leadership team for the Senior Product Manager to receive project approval and financing.
The incumbent provides leadership in their internal team, and with multiple cross-functional
stakeholders throughout and after the product development process. They are exceptionally adept at
influencing without direct authority. The incumbent is professional, approachable and conducts
themself with a positive and inspiring disposition. They are responsible in providing leadership for a
portfolio of clients and build collaborative relationships, trust, rapport, and credibility within the
organization, the industry and external networks. Ability to lead, influence, and coach others through complex projects.
The incumbent is proactive and consistent in taking initiative to ensure their knowledge and skills
remain current in the industry, platform strategies, trends and opportunities, and technical
developments are in alignment with strategic company objectives, and to meet their position
requirements, attend and/or present related training, and conferences, etc. They are responsible for
technical leadership and mentorship to others on the PM team.
