As we continue to transform Ford into a digital-first mobility company, the way we interact with our customers beyond the initial vehicle purchase is more critical than ever. We are looking for a visionary and data-driven Senior Product Manager for Pricing & Promotions to lead the strategy and execution for our Non-Vehicle Assortment Online.
This portfolio includes Ford Accessories & Parts, Ford Performance Parts, lifestyle merchandise, and emerging digital services. You will be responsible for building the "brain" of our e-commerce pricing engine—ensuring that we offer the right price at the right time to the right customer. This is a high-visibility role that sits at the intersection of Finance, Merchandising, Operations, and Engineering, directly impacting the bottom line.
Although this is approved for fully remote candidates, there is a strong preference for those who are local and/or willing to relocate to Dearborn to be onsite four days per week.
Responsibilities
What you'll do...
- Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define and drive the multi-year product roadmap for pricing and promotional capabilities across Ford’s global e-commerce platforms.
- Pricing Optimization: Develop and implement sophisticated pricing logic, including dynamic pricing, competitive benchmarking, and regional price adjustments for a diverse catalog of physical and digital goods.
- Promotional Engine: Build and scale a robust promotional platform that supports complex discounting, bundling (e.g., "Buy a Bronco rack, get 20% off a tent"), Ford loyalty point integration, and seasonal campaigns.
- Stakeholder Leadership: Navigate a complex ecosystem of stakeholders, including Finance (margin protection), Marketing (brand positioning), Legal (compliance), and our Dealer Network (ensuring a seamless omni-channel experience).
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Partner with Data Science to build A/B testing frameworks for price elasticity and promotional effectiveness. You won’t just report on data; you will use it to pivot strategy.
- Execution Excellence: Lead a dedicated squad of engineers and designers using Agile methodologies to ship high-quality features that improve conversion rates and Average Order Value (AOV).
- Market Analysis: Stay ahead of e-commerce trends and competitor moves to ensure Ford’s non-vehicle offerings remain the premium choice for our owners.
The Senior Product Manager for Pricing & Promotions will be…
- An E-Commerce Expert: You have a deep understanding of the mechanics of online retail. You know what makes a checkout experience seamless and how a well-timed promotion can drive customer lifetime value.
- Analytically Rigorous: You are comfortable diving into data to find insights. You understand the complexities of multi-commodity pricing structures and can defend your product decisions with hard numbers.
- A Master Communicator: You can explain complex pricing logic to an executive audience while also being able to write detailed technical requirements for an engineering team.
- Customer-Obsessed: You believe that pricing is not just about revenue, it’s about providing value to the Ford owner and enhancing their ownership experience
QualificationsYou'll have....
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
- 7+ years of experience in Product Management, with at least 3 years specifically focused on E-commerce, Pricing, Fintech, and/or Promotions. Other skills to include:
- Proven track record of launching and scaling digital products in a global, matrixed environment.
- Experience with modern e-commerce platforms (e.g., Adobe Commerce/Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, or custom-built headless solutions)
Even better, you may have...
- MBA or advanced degree in a quantitative field.
- Experience in the automotive industry or with high-consideration durable goods.
- Familiarity with loyalty programs and integrating "points as currency" into a pricing strategy.
- Expertise in machine learning applications for dynamic pricing.
