DescriptionThis position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Product Manager, Patient Communications in the United States.
In this role, you will lead the strategy and execution of patient communication products that enhance engagement, reduce missed appointments, and improve overall care delivery. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams to define product roadmaps, prioritize features, and ensure successful delivery of AI-enabled messaging solutions across multiple channels. Your work will directly impact patient experience and operational efficiency, requiring a mix of analytical skills, customer empathy, and strategic thinking. You will conduct research with users, define KPIs, run experiments, and create scalable communication workflows. The role offers a high level of autonomy, collaboration, and opportunity to influence the direction of healthcare technology solutions.
Accountabilities:
- Own the vision and roadmap for patient communication products, including reminders, recalls, and AI-enabled messaging across SMS/MMS, email, voice, and emerging channels.
- Scale AI solutions by defining intents, skills, guardrails, escalation paths, and safety reviews for PHI compliance.
- Conduct customer discovery and UX research to translate insights into resilient, accessible workflows.
- Define KPIs, analyze performance data, run A/B tests, and iterate on messaging strategies to optimize outcomes.
- Partner with sales, marketing, and customer success to create go-to-market plans, demos, ROI stories, and migration paths from legacy systems.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Security, Legal/Compliance, Support, and Partnerships to ensure product delivery meets quality and regulatory standards.
- Deliver measurable impact, including reduced no-show rates, improved recall reactivation, and increased engagement metrics.
Requirements- 3+ years of product management experience in messaging, communications platforms, healthcare SaaS, or related domains.
- BA/BS degree required.
- Proven ability to gather business insights, identify trends, and use data to support decisions; SQL skills highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with LLM/AI products, including prompt design, integrations, evaluation, and human escalation criteria.
- Demonstrated ability to write clear PRDs, manage complex deliveries, and lead cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with experience influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, self-starter, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Experience launching differentiated B2B software, ideally in healthcare.
