CoverMyMeds’ Shared Capabilities and Partnerships team is looking for a Product Manager to work on Medical PA and CMM’s recent acquisition of FastAuth. This is a great opportunity to work on highly strategic and quickly evolving capabilities that drive CMM’s future growth. Together with our various business units, the work our team does ultimately helps people get the medicine they need to live healthier lives.

* Our ideal candidate will reside in Columbus, OH. Position will primarily allow for remote working with occasional in-office presence for key meetings. We may also consider qualified candidates in the metropolitan areas of Atlanta (GA) or remote.

What You'll Do

As a Product Manager your daily to-dos will shift with business needs, but here’s a snapshot of what to expect:

  • Synthesizes and makes proactive recommendations regarding product direction based on industry and market research performed
  • Carries out varying P&L responsibilities ($ relating to complexity and portfolio size), including providing guardrails on pricing and deal support
  • Partners with Commercial and Operations teams to identify value proposition and properly position products in the marketplace
  • In collaboration with cross-functional teams, makes recommendations to assess product needs and implements solutions (driving for impact) within their area of responsibility
  • Defines and communicates the “why” of product direction, recommendations, and business need to the broader team and encourages engagement and creativity across the team, understanding when to take action, engage, and adjust
  • Engages in customer co-innovation opportunities to make MVP product recommendations
  • Prioritizes within own responsibility set when there are conflicting Product Management initiatives and raises conflicts to and participates in the de-conflicting process with leaders
  • Consults with the legal / compliance teams to ensure features and product direction are legal and compliant

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and minimum 4+ years of experience in product management or technology product development
  • Experience developing product requirements and collaborating with technology teams to ensure delivery of highly valued features
  • Ability to make trade-off decisions on features and scope to attain broader delivery goals
  • Experience developing and prioritizing product roadmaps, synthesizing various needs across new strategic features and growth, technology improvements, and sustaining development
  • Interface with engineering, operations, account management, and sales to develop new products or enhance existing lines
  • Self-starter that can work through issues collaboratively with other teams
  • Strong communication skills and ability to gain trust

Preferred Skills

  • Prior experience with medical prior authorization or drug access markets and products

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
