The Product Manager, Loan Servicing is a strategic and tactical individual contributor responsible for the vision, roadmap, and execution of the company’s core loan servicing platform. This role bridges business objectives and technical development to optimize servicing operations and enhance customer engagement across the entire loan lifecycle. Acting as the primary business owner, the role defines and manages priorities, oversees integrations, ensures compliance, and drives efficiency and automation across all servicing functions and release cycles.

Essential Functions

  • Own the end-to-end strategy and roadmap for the loan servicing platform, aligning capabilities with business goals across all operational domains.

  • Serve as the primary liaison among key stakeholders, including Operations, IT, Compliance, Finance, and vendor partners, to ensure timely delivery of enhancements and adherence to regulatory standards.

  • Define business requirements and manage platform priorities, backlog, and release schedules based on business value, risk, and technical feasibility.

  • Lead requirements gathering and translate business needs into clear functional specifications for system enhancements.

  • Oversee integration strategy with core systems, ensuring data quality, consistency, and governance.

  • Develop and maintain standardized processes for configuration, testing, and deployment of platform changes.

  • Monitor system performance, identify optimization opportunities, and implement automation to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.

  • Manage vendor relationships, including issue escalation, roadmap alignment, performance management, and cost negotiations.

  • Ensure regulatory compliance through strong platform governance, controls, and audit readiness.

  • Provide executive-level reporting and updates on platform performance, enhancement ROI, and operational impact.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 7 years of experience managing enterprise platforms or complex systems.

  • Deep understanding of loan servicing platforms and associated operational processes.

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage complex, multi-year system roadmaps.

  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, compliance frameworks, and risk management practices.

  • Demonstrated expertise in system integrations, data governance, and process automation.

  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience with agile delivery methodologies and backlog management tools.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

  • Experience managing vendor relationships, including contract negotiation and performance management.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, visualize, talk, hear, and handle or touch objects or controls. The employee may occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 20 pounds.

This position is an office-based position where you must be able to sit for long periods of time. The employee will be working on a computer 90% of the time.
