All internship positions are designed to give college students an opportunity to apply techniques learned in an academic setting and to gain new skills. This is a paid internship offering full-time hours during the summer months. All interns are required to conclude the program by giving a formal presentation on their work. Please note that no relocation assistance or sponsorship is provided for the internship program at this time.

Position Summary:

As a Summer 2026 Commercial Marketing Intern supporting the Maurice product line at Bio‑Techne, you will help the team organize and analyze pricing information for Maurice instruments and consumables, compare them to competitor offerings, and assist in preparing materials that inform future pricing decisions. You will also support the transition of Maurice‑related webpages to Bio‑Techne’s new branding by reviewing content, updating basic information, and coordinating with the Web and Marketing teams. In addition, you will help draft clear, professional technical memo responses and learn how to navigate the Arena PLM system to support basic product documentation updates. This role is ideal for students interested in marketing, product management, and gaining hands‑on experience in the life sciences industry

Key Responsibilities:

Pricing Support

  • Gather and organize historical and current pricing data for Maurice instruments and consumables.

  • Research competitor pricing using public sources and internal team guidance.

  • Identify simple patterns or trends in pricing (e.g., changes over time, differences by product type).

  • Support creation of pricing summary slides, comparison charts, and internal presentations.

Website Branding & Content Support

  • Review Biologics-related website pages and note what needs updating in the new brand system.

  • Help update page text, product details, and images under guidance from Marketing and Web teams.

  • Perform basic QA checks for accuracy, consistency, and formatting before content goes live.

  • Track website updates and communicate progress clearly.

Technical Memo & Documentation Support

  • Assist in drafting simple, structured technical memo responses using provided templates and guidance.

  • Help summarize customer questions or internal requests and prepare clear responses for review by Product Management or Applications teams.

  • Edit or clean up existing memos for grammar, clarity, and formatting.

Arena PLM System Activities

  • Learn to navigate Bio‑Techne’s Arena Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.

  • Help review, organize, or update basic product records (e.g., part descriptions, attachments, revision notes).

  • Upload or tag documents (datasheets, slides, product images) following internal workflows.

  • Assist with tracking ECO/ECR progress as directed by the Product Management team (view-only or entry-level tasks).

Intern Deliverables

  • A consolidated pricing summary.

  • A competitor pricing comparison sheet.

  • A list of recommended website content updates.

  • A small set of polished technical memos drafted during the internship.

  • A final presentation summarizing your project work and learnings.

Program Requirements:

  • Must be a currently enrolled student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a field relevant to the internship

  • Must have completed (at minimum) the sophomore year of college

  • Must be able to work full-time during the duration of the internship program

Experience Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Economics, or a related field.

  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets).

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

  • Interest in marketing, product strategy, or the life sciences industry is a plus.

  • No technical lab experience required, but it is a nice-to-have.
