Job Description

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Product Manager for WennSoft, you’ll own a meaningful product area from launch readiness through early adoption. You’ll partner closely with engineering, implementation/support, and go-to-market to ensure Nexus doesn’t just ship—it lands with customers. You’ll set direction, translate customer problems into clear epics and user stories, and run an AI-assisted product operating cadence that accelerates discovery, improves requirements quality, and keeps delivery aligned to measurable adoption outcomes.

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You’ll partner daily with Engineering, and work closely with Implementation/Support, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing to coordinate GA readiness, onboarding, telemetry, and the early adopter program. You’ll also engage directly with customers and partners to validate workflows and remove adoption blockers.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL

  • Own GA readiness for your Nexus area: define “what must be true” for launch (instrumentation, onboarding steps, documentation, support readiness, known-issues policy, rollout gates).

  • Build a repeatable adoption engine: create and run a design-partner / early adopter motion with defined success criteria, activation milestones, and a managed feedback loop.

  • Create and maintain a prioritized backlog: deliver fully defined epics and user stories (use case context, dependencies, and testable acceptance criteria) that cover at least the next 12 weeks / 2 releases and are “ready” for engineering.

  • Drive outcomes with data: define KPIs and dashboards (activation funnel, workflow adoption, time-to-live) and lead a weekly cadence to make decisions, prioritize work, and report progress.

  • Lead customer discovery with leverage: conduct customer interviews and workflow reviews; synthesize insights from calls, support tickets, and usage data into product decisions.

  • Communicate clearly and consistently: provide crisp weekly status, risks, and tradeoffs to stakeholders; align scope and sequencing across teams.

  • Partner with GTM to launch: contribute to packaging/positioning inputs, release notes, enablement materials, and internal training for product launches.

  • Operate AI-first: use AI tools to accelerate synthesis of customer feedback, draft PRDs/stories/acceptance criteria, generate test scenarios, and automate recurring reporting—while ensuring human validation and accountability.

THE SKILLSET YOU’LL BRING

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience delivering customer-facing software.

  • Proven record of shipping and driving adoption (not just delivering features).

  • Strong ability to translate complex workflows into high-quality epics and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.

  • Comfort operating in ambiguity with an ownership mindset—able to make tradeoffs and drive alignment.

  • Data-informed approach: experience defining KPIs, instrumentation needs, and using product analytics to guide prioritization.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication; able to drive decisions across engineering, GTM, and customer-facing teams.

  • AI-first working style: practical experience using AI to increase product velocity and quality (research synthesis, drafting requirements, experiment design, release communications, and operational updates).

  • Preferred: familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics (GP/Business Central), APIs, and integrated business systems; you don’t need to be an engineer, but you can “speak the language” of web/mobile/data.

  • Preferred: experience building products for SMB/Enterprise in field service, project/job management, construction, or adjacent operational domains.
