About Docuvera

We’re on a mission to help the life sciences industry harness the power of digital innovation, accelerating their ability to get their life changing products to market faster, and enabling them to raise the bar for safety, quality, and care.

Docuvera is used by some of the world’s largest organizations to enable reuse, reassembly and multiformat consumption of mission critical content. Our platform empowers life sciences organizations to drive digital transformation through efficient, compliant, and multiformat content creation. They leverage a component first approach where content is broken down, easily assembled into documents, and reused across their organization.

Headquartered in Wellington, New Zealand, our distributed team work across New Zealand, Asia, the UK, Europe and the United States, with customers throughout the world.  As of May 2025, we are now a member of the cormeo family of companies.

The part you'll play

As a Product Manager, you’ll be responsible for executing Docuvera’s product strategy, working closely with functional leads in Engineering, Sales, and Services to dive deep and solve customer pain points. Our customer-centric philosophy extends across everything we do, whether you’re defining new UI with the UX Designer, sharing your domain learnings with your Product Management peers, or running requirements workshops onsite with customer stakeholders.

The impact you'll make

You’ll know, and we’ll know, this role is successful when you consistently focus the team on what matters most: turning validated customer insight and clear business priorities into well-scoped, incremental product outcomes that reduce customer pain and move the business forward. Success looks like a prioritized roadmap and backlog that reflect strategic trade-offs, repeatable discovery and validation practices that reduce risk before build, crisp requirements engineering trusts, and reliable, timely releases that close customer pain points. Equally important is how you deliver: you build trust internally and externally, lift others, bring calm and clarity through change, and model the judgment and accountability we value.

What you'll focus on

  • Support the collection, assessment, and prioritization of customer requirements for future versions of Docuvera services.
  • Gather input from customer interactions, internal stakeholders, competitive analysis, and market research to inform product decisions.
  • Collaborate with Product Management peers to help define and refine the user experience for Docuvera services.
  • Assist in defining business and functional requirements for product enhancements (e.g., writing user stories or use cases).
  • Break larger product ideas into well-defined, incremental features that can be delivered iteratively.
  • Create and maintain product documentation, specifications, and planning artifacts as needed.
  • Work with UX Designers to review and validate user experience designs, including participating in usability testing.
  • Collaborate with Scrum Masters, Project Managers, and Software Engineers to support agile delivery, including backlog grooming and sprint planning.
  • Communicate product updates and feature details internally and, when appropriate, with customers and other external stakeholders.

What you'll bring to the role

We're looking for a mix of these key skills, experience and knowledge

  • 2–4 years of experience in Product Management, Associate Product Management, Business Analysis, or a related role.
  • Experience working on SaaS or enterprise software products, ideally in a customer-facing or cross-functional environment.
  • Experience and interest in leveraging AI and automations in fulfilling your tasks.
  • Hands-on experience supporting requirements gathering through customer feedback, stakeholder collaboration, competitive analysis, or market research.
  • Familiarity with agile or iterative software development methodologies and working with engineering teams in a sprint-based environment.
  • An understanding of customer-centric product development and the ability to translate user needs into clear product requirements (e.g., user stories, use cases).
  • Exposure to domains such as workflow, search, collaboration, content management, data migration, or related enterprise services is a plus.
  • Interest or experience in Life Sciences industries (pharmaceuticals, biotech, or medical devices) is desirable but not required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success teams.
  • A collaborative, team-first mindset and comfort working with distributed or remote teams.
  • Curiosity, adaptability, and a willingness to learn new domains, tools, and perspectives in a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and focus on practical, customer-focused solutions.

You’ll have these certifications or qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent education and/or experience is desired

We value these qualities and attributes in our people

We value diversity of experience, perspective, and background and we recognise that how we work is just as important as what we achieve.

We’re built around a few consistent ways of working: driving outcomes, innovating, lifting others up, adapting quickly, leading by example, and bringing people together around a shared purpose. We capture these behaviours in six words: Go-Getter, Trailblazer, Elevator, Shapeshifter, Torchbearer, and Steward, and you’ll see them show up in how we collaborate, how we measure performance, and how we get work done day to day.

A Go-Getter focuses on what matters most and drives results without chasing perfection; a Trailblazer is curious, proactive, and always looking for better ways to do things; an Elevator lifts others up through listening, collaboration, and crediting contributions; a Shapeshifter stays positive and calm through change and helps others find clarity and momentum; a Torchbearer leads with initiative and accountability, communicating early and acting in the team’s best interests; and a Steward brings steadiness and purpose, uniting people around shared goals with optimism, professionalism, and integrity.

Why should you join us?

Where to start!  As a distributed, global team, we operate a high trust environment and we truly walk the talk.  We give our people the tools, flexibility, autonomy, and encouragement they need to thrive.  Here’s what that looks like in practice:

  • Modern tools that work for you. We use the latest systems, including AI, to make work smarter.
  • Space to grow. You’ll have access to learning and development resources, plus dedicated tools-down time for personal growth.
  • Time to recharge.  In the U.S., we offer unlimited PTO and funded health benefits, including dental and medical.
