This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Principal Product Manager, Unannounced Super Fun Video Game in the United States.

In this role, you will be at the forefront of building a new, highly engaging free-to-play mobile game in a fast-paced, creative studio environment. You will collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and data analysts to turn innovative game concepts into a polished, player-focused product. Your work will cover the full development lifecycle, from ideation and prototyping to live operations, monetization, and global launch. This position offers the opportunity to shape gameplay systems, progression, and live events while balancing creativity and data-driven decision-making. You will help define the game’s vision, drive critical product decisions, and ensure players remain delighted and engaged. This role provides the chance to make a measurable impact on a major new IP while enjoying a flexible, remote-friendly work environment.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead the conceptualization, prioritization, and delivery of game features that engage players and meet measurable goals.
  • Own the live operations strategy, including in-game events, updates, and systems that keep the game balanced, energizing, and engaging.
  • Analyze player data and KPIs to inform decisions, optimize gameplay, and drive product improvements.
  • Collaborate with marketing and user acquisition teams to maximize player onboarding and engagement.
  • Drive product decisions across the full development lifecycle, from early prototypes to global launches.
  • Mentor and influence development pods, ensuring cohesion and clarity across all stages of the game’s development.


Requirements
  • Extensive experience in F2P mobile game product management, particularly in RPG mechanics and monetization systems.
  • Proven ability to translate data into actionable insights while balancing creative game design considerations.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work closely with designers, engineers, and marketing teams.
  • Experience in managing live ops strategies, player progression, and in-game economies.
  • Comfort driving product decisions across the entire development lifecycle, from prototype to global release.
  • Passion for gaming, creativity, humor, and the ability to work in a fast-moving startup environment.
  • Bonus skills include game design expertise, technical literacy (SQL, telemetry, scripting), anime/otaku culture knowledge, AI-assisted product optimization, and business modeling skills.
