This is an opportunity to join a product development organization at the intersection of management consulting and AI, building next-generation tools that transform how our consultants work. We are looking for a senior, hands-on Principal Product Manager (IC) who has lived the consulting life and has since developed the technical fluency to translate that experience into powerful, AI-driven products.
You understand what it means to be on an engagement. You know the craft of structuring a problem, delegating workstreams, and synthesizing insight under deadline. Most importantly, you understand that the quality of this work has a direct bearing on healthcare organizations and the patients they serve. That sense of mission drives you.
As a Principal Product Manager, you will own the vision and execution of our internal workforce automation platform, using AI and agentic frameworks to augment consultants at every level. You are a doer who thrives in small, high-trust teams and are passionate about building tools that enable colleagues to do their best work . You have a proven ability to identify the right problems to solve, define success metrics, and deliver solutions that create meaningful impact for customers and the business.
Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Vision
Own and articulate a product vision for consulting workforce automation grounded in first-hand understanding of how consulting engagements are structured, staffed, and delivered.
Identify the highest-leverage opportunities to remove friction, reduce time on low-value tasks, and augment consultant judgment with AI across the full engagement lifecycle.
Translate product vision into concrete roadmaps, success metrics, and measurable business outcomes.
AI-Enabled Product Development
Define and deliver AI-powered capabilities that augment consultant judgment, generate insight at scale, and assist teams.
Engage directly with engineering on architecture and design, including agent orchestration, knowledge retrieval systems, and integration with internal consulting workflows and data sources.
Contribute to technical decision-making on architecture, AI models, and agentic systems, evaluating trade-offs across quality, scalability, and cost.
Execution & Leadership
Operate as a high-impact individual contributor, partnering closely with engineering, analytics, and consulting leadership to move from concept to pilot to scale.
Serve as the connective tissue between consulting and technical teams, translating workflow knowledge into product requirements through ongoing, iterative engagement with the consulting organization.
Communicate options and trade-offs to senior leaders to enable fast, well-informed decisions.
Qualifications and Desired Skills
10+ years of total professional experience, with a meaningful portion spent in management consulting, ideally reaching the Engagement Manager level or higher, with direct responsibility for structuring and delegating work
Demonstrated experience in healthcare consulting strongly preferred; deep familiarity with healthcare provider, payer, or health system operating environments
Product management, product strategy, or a technology-oriented role, with hands-on experience delivering AI-enabled or data-intensive products
Technical fluency sufficient to engage credibly with engineering and architecture discussions, with a strong desire to go deeper in AI, agentic systems, and emerging technologies
Proven ability to define the right metrics, deliver measurable outcomes, and take products from concept to scale in ambiguous environments
Demonstrated success taking products from concept to pilot to scale in ambiguous, early-stage environments
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree a plus
