DescriptionThe Oracle Clinical AI Agent team’s mission is to deliver an AI platform that serves as the foundation for Oracle’s health applications. By embedding generative and conversational AI into these applications, we empower clinicians to simplify their workflows, reduce manual tasks, and focus more on patient care. Our diverse team of innovators is building the future of conversational clinical interfaces—improving the lives of patients and providers worldwide. We work with the agility of a start-up and the impact of an industry leader. Join us and shape the future of healthcare.
We are seeking a highly motivated Principal Product Manager to drive the creation of Semantic Agent Builder. Semantic Agent Builder empowers teams to create high‑value AI agents on our semantic data platform for use with the Oracle Health EHR. This role leads a “no-code” agent creation experience—so an informaticist or clinical administrator can assemble an agent, validate it, and publish via a governed process. You will own the strategy and delivery of this “agentic development experience,” working with the semantic data platform and collaborating with teams including data science, engineering, and UX.
Responsibilities
- Define the vision, roadmap, and end‑to‑end user experience for AI-based agent assembly.
- Design and deliver a simple, guided agent creation path from concept to production, removing friction from the agent development process.
- Translate abstract ideas and unmet needs into structured product concepts, defining the problem space, success criteria, and technical feasibility.
- Partner closely with data science, engineering, and UX teams to shape agent behavior, training strategies, and user experience.
- Drive the creation and curation of high-quality datasets required for training and validating agent models, including annotation guidelines and domain coverage.
- Develop validation protocols to test agent performance, usability, and clinical safety in real-world-like environments prior to release.
- Collaborate on release planning, documentation, and internal enablement to support the smooth launch of new agent capabilities.
- Ensure that Clinical AI Agents developed with Semantic Agent Builder meet healthcare industry standards for data privacy, transparency, and reliability.
- Identify lead customers, cultivate design partnerships, and incorporate direct user feedback to validate assumptions, guide product evolution, and ensure clinical needs remain at the forefront of innovation.
- Run design partner program to validate usability and lifecycle UX, synthesize feedback into a clear backlog, and quickly iterate product development.
- Establish adoption and quality signals for the experience and use these to drive the backlog.
- Communicate plans and trade‑offs with clarity; maintain a crisp decision log; influence cross‑functional stakeholders toward focused outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications (required)
- 7+ years of product management experience delivering platform, low‑code/no‑code, or builder‑style products at scale with measurable adoption outcomes.
- 3+ years’ experience driving 0‑to‑1 platform experience in low‑code/agentic products or developer ecosystems (e.g., pattern libraries, assembly flows, validation/publish lifecycles).
- Experience owning end‑to‑end user journeys preferably in a pattern‑based or composable product.
- Familiarity with clinical workflows, informatics, patient safety and clinical and administrative operations.
- Strong understanding of semantic data layers and knowledge graphs (conceptual and practical), and the ability to translate them into simple, safe user experiences.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication; track record of aligning cross‑functional teams and telling a clear product story to leadership and customers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with EHR platforms, clinical integration patterns, and healthcare data standards (e.g., FHIR) as a product owner.
- Demonstrated ability to run and/or design partner programs, convert feedback to shipping increments, and operationalize metrics that move product adoption and quality.
ResponsibilitiesAs a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Specify, design and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.
