This role offers the opportunity to lead the development of innovative consumer devices that integrate seamlessly with a mobile app ecosystem, enhancing safety and everyday convenience for millions of users. You will translate strategic vision into tangible products, balancing technical tradeoffs, market opportunities, and customer insights. Acting as both a thought partner to executives and a hands-on driver of execution, you will define product roadmaps, prioritize initiatives, and ensure delivery of impactful hardware solutions. Collaboration across engineering, design, operations, and go-to-market teams is essential, and success in this role requires strategic foresight, analytical rigor, and a passion for customer-centered innovation.
· Develop and communicate long-term device product strategy and roadmap tied to key business metrics such as adoption, retention, and revenue.
· Define success metrics, measurement frameworks, and ensure products meet user needs and business goals.
· Lead the full product lifecycle from concept, validation, and launch to iteration and optimization.
· Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, operations, marketing, and finance to align on strategy, execution, and go-to-market initiatives.
· Mentor other product managers and elevate product management practices within the team.
· Drive innovation in device features leveraging AI/ML and ensure scalable, cost-effective product design.
· Identify new growth opportunities and adjacent device categories to expand the product footprint.
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
· 10+ years of product management experience, including significant ownership of hardware, IoT, or consumer devices.
· Proven track record of defining long-term strategy and shipping successful products at scale.
· Strong analytical skills with the ability to define metrics, build models, and link product outcomes to business performance.
· Demonstrated experience collaborating with engineering, design, operations, and marketing teams on full-stack hardware/software solutions.
· Ability to influence executive leadership and drive alignment across Finance, Operations, Sales, and GTM teams.
· Passion for understanding customer needs and translating insights into high-impact product decisions.
· Familiarity with AI/ML applications in consumer products is a strong plus.
· Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable operating in ambiguity with a bias for action.
· Competitive salary range: $155,000 - $228,000, dependent on experience and location.
