Description

With tremendous market success in our Cloud Applications, especially in ERP Cloud, Higher Ed institutions have expressed unprecedented interest in embarking a cloud adoption journey with Oracle. Student Information Systems, a critical functional area to compete in our SaaS footprint for Higher Ed, is one top investment priority for Oracle. 

This role is responsible for facilitating user-centered product research, design, and execution for Student Cloud. This role works with both internal teams (e.g., product strategy, product management, user experience, development, marketing, internal sales, customer support, etc.) and external audiences (e.g., customers, analysts, system integrators/partners, etc.)

 



Responsibilities

Responsibilities include: 

  • Developing the vision for the product through compiled market analysis, customer feedback, sales channels, and technology innovations.
  • Defining the roadmap for the offering to maximize customer adoption and customer value
  • Analyzing and integrating external customer requirements into the product. Suggest and justify product direction by referencing well defined and organized requirements.
  • Working with and influencing various development teams and stakeholders to ensure the product is developed and delivered as planned
  • Communicating product positioning and influencing the go-to-market teams to ensure the product is effectively sold

Requirements include:

  • You can communicate well and can drive abstract technical and business concepts into concrete, non-ambiguous requirements.
  • You can organize functions into logical groupings and supplement narrative requirements with visual representations to reduce complexity.

  • You can influence senior leadership with innovative ideas.
  • You work independently to solve problems and are willing to do what it takes to see tasks to completion.
  • You should be comfortable engaging customers, customer support, implementation partners, marketing analysts, and sales teams.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $92,900 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
