Manager Product Manager, Telecom and Web

Job Overview:

The Manager Product Manager will report to the Vice President of Product Development and Fulfillment. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a suite of telecom products, some of which are digital. The digital products include the launch of a mobile application and key website functionality including account management. For all products, including telecom and digital, the PM will be responsible for the full lifecycle management of products they own. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for product lifecycle, from ideation and strategy to execution and optimization. They will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and customer support, to deliver seamless and innovative digital experiences that meet our users' needs and drive business growth. As a Manager in the Product team, the successful candidate must be able to lead and mentor others in Product Management best practice and should be an example for others in how to conduct both Product Management and good business in general.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Create and drive product strategy and vision.
• Create and drive to product roadmaps launch dates.
• Create standard product life cycle artifacts like competitive market analysis, feature comparison charts, competitive pricing recommendations, margin analysis, etc.
• Create and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze data to measure success
• Identify and execute incremental product line enhancements.
• Advocate for and ensure the best user experience is achieved through research, testing and experimentation in collaboration with internal user advocates.
• Translate ideas into specific functional requirements for the development team.
• Engage key stakeholders including executives, suppliers, customers, and other internal verticals
• Stay current on industry trends and competitor offerings.
• Take on the role of a project manager or team leader as required to deliver new products and enhancements.
• Mentor, train and coach other Product Managers and project team members on best practices in Product Management. Inform executives and lead change initiatives to implement these best practices as internal standards.

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Ability to quickly learn, analyze situations, and make decisions which support the mission of Patriot Mobile.
• Knowledgeable about mobility technology and telecommunications industry.
• Experience working in agile development framework and participate in and/or help facilitate agile ceremonies.
• Be adept at collaboration and planning within product teams.
• Strong understanding of product lifecycle management.
• Experience leading cross-functional project teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Data-driven decision-making skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and manage time effectively.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Must have ability to travel up to 15% of the time.

Education and Experience:

• 5-10 years' industry experience
• Bachelor's degree in business, information technology or related field preferred.
• Previous experience as a Product Manager required.
• Previous experience in the cellular mobility industry required.
• Prior experience with digital or IT product management preferred.
• Product Management certification or experience a plus. (Pragmatic Marketing a plus)
• Project management or agile methodology certification a plus.
• Excellent knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and database management

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
• Must be willing to work in an office full-time.
