About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Product Manager to support the Platform Transformation Value Stream team, driving strategic execution and product enablement across the Global Payments & Liquidity, Product & Platform organization. This team is focused on expanding core payments products, enhancing pricing discipline for deposits and fees, and modernizing payments platforms and architecture to build robust payment ecosystems.

This role supports end‑to‑end value delivery across a defined Payments value stream by translating enterprise transformation objectives into coordinated execution and measurable outcomes. The Payments Value Stream role focuses on managing the flow of work from intake through delivery, ensuring priorities, dependencies, and delivery milestones are aligned across Product, Technology, Operations, Risk, and Delivery teams. The role operates within a complex, matrixed environment and works closely with value stream and delivery leadership to surface risks, manage dependencies, and maintain momentum against strategic objectives. • Translate enterprise and business priorities into actionable value stream plans, aligning initiatives, releases, and workstreams to strategic objectives.
  • Monitor value stream flow and delivery health, identifying bottlenecks, risks, and constraints and partnering with stakeholders to drive resolution.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional execution across Product, Technology, Operations, Risk, and external partners to support integrated, end‑to‑end delivery.
  • Participate in value stream–level planning and delivery forums (e.g., PI planning, release planning, execution reviews) to support alignment, readiness, and accountability.
  • Communicate delivery status, risks, and dependencies clearly to stakeholders and leadership, translating complex execution dynamics into actionable insights.
  • Track and manage dependencies and execution risks, escalating issues and supporting trade‑off decisions as needed.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of delivery practices, identifying opportunities to enhance planning, governance, processes, and ways of working.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Product Management, product owner, strategic planning, process management, change delivery experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with payment rails and messaging platforms such as ACH, FedNow, CHIPS, SWIFT, MT‑to‑MX, and ISO 20022.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including PowerPoint development and executive‑ready storytelling.
