This role is ideal for an experienced product leader ready to drive a zero-to-one initiative and launch a transformative product in the business planning space. You will define the vision, strategy, and execution of a new platform that enables revenue teams to plan, collaborate, and operate more effectively, leveraging advanced analytics and AI/ML insights. This position offers high visibility with executive sponsorship, cross-functional collaboration, and the opportunity to influence the direction of a key business line. The role blends strategic thinking, product design, and customer engagement, providing a chance to establish a category-defining solution while mentoring and elevating other product managers across the organization.
Accountabilities
- Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Business Planning initiative, aligning stakeholders across the company.
- Lead the product from concept through MVP, early adoption, and market scale, ensuring successful delivery and adoption.
- Build and maintain relationships with early adopters and design partners to drive customer feedback and referenceable success stories.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, GTM, Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Finance, and Enablement to ensure a cohesive go-to-market strategy.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer discovery to inform product decisions and differentiate offerings.
- Serve as a thought leader in planning and BPM, sharing insights in industry forums and shaping AI-driven capabilities.
- Mentor and guide junior product managers, setting a high bar for product leadership and best practices.
Requirements - 6–14+ years of product management experience, including Senior or Principal PM roles in enterprise SaaS companies.
- Proven zero-to-one experience leading the creation and launch of new products or major product lines.
- Strong expertise in data-heavy domains such as BI, forecasting, analytics, machine learning, modeling, or planning software.
- Familiarity with BPM, FP&A, or GTM planning tools (e.g., Anaplan, Pigment, Adaptive, Planful, Vena) is a strong plus.
- Experience partnering with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to launch and scale enterprise products.
- Excellent communicator with executive presence, able to align leadership, customers, and internal stakeholders.
- Customer-focused, intellectually curious, and capable of quickly mastering new domains.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous, resource-constrained environments and proactively drive impact.
- U.S.-based, remote role with support for all time zones.
