Job Description:

The AVP, Technical Product Manager will lead the technology product organization and drive the development, prioritization, and execution of cross‑business product roadmaps. This role partners closely with business product leaders, enterprise architecture, engineering, and operations to deliver high‑quality technology capabilities that support strategic business outcomes. The AVP provides vision, leadership, and disciplined execution across the full product lifecycle—from ideation and design through delivery, release, optimization, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Define the technology product strategy and ensure alignment with enterprise business objectives and IM&T priorities. And Develop and maintain technology roadmaps that support scalability, modernization, and innovation.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of Technical Product Managers and developers, fostering an environment of trust, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Project Delivery: Oversee the full application development lifecycle—from ideation to deployment—ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Technology Strategy: Define and implement technology roadmaps that drive innovation, scalability, and competitive advantage.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with business product management, IT operations, and key stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Quality Assurance: Establish coding standards, best practices, and QA processes to ensure reliability, security, and performance.
  • Resource & Budget Management: Optimize resource allocation, manage budgets, and maintain vendor relationships to maximize efficiency.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technical and operational risks, ensuring business continuity and compliance.
  • Continuous Improvement: Promote innovation, professional development, and adoption of modern frameworks such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and DevOps.
  • Compliance & Security: Ensure adherence to data privacy regulations, cybersecurity standards, and industry best practices.
  • Product Roadmap Ownership: Develop and lead the product roadmap, prioritizing features that deliver maximum customer value and align with strategic goals.
  • Release & Change Management: Coordinate release planning, manage end-to-end release processes, and enforce change management policies.
  • Vendor Management: Evaluate, select, and manage external partners to deliver critical features and services.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on project portfolio performance, set team goals, and provide guidance for successful delivery.
  • Customer-Centric Focus: Drive a culture of excellence centered on customer needs, rigorous testing, and flawless execution.
  • Executive Communication: Present priorities and progress to senior leadership, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

Minimum Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the minimum knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • 10+ years’ experience working with external service providers, software developers and engineers, with a strong ability to translate product requirements succinctly and ensure technology deliverables are built with high quality
  • Solid understanding UX/UI along with user-centered design and development, Strong Services API development background, with a solid understanding of how different technologies work together to enable a successful product launch.
  • Firm understanding of Agile product development and Strong Jira management.
  • Working knowledge of tools such as SQL, Jira, and Domo.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly in an environment with evolving business demands.
  • Experience with leading multiple projects and advising senior leadership is desirable.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of staff and management.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to AI fluency by embracing AI tools and technologies to enhance individual and team performance, decision-making, and innovation

Preferred:

  • Experience with AI, Mobile, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and automation tools.
  • Familiarity with IaaS, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Enterprise Architecture and Enterprise Data Platforms, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and disaster recovery planning.

Base Salary Range: $200,000 - $240,000
