As an Associate Product Manager focused on Real-Time Communications, you will play a key role in shaping the tools that power voice, messaging, and email interactions for customers. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a fast-evolving telephony and communications platform at scale. You will collaborate with engineering, design, infrastructure, and support teams to deliver reliable and impactful communication solutions. This position is ideal for a curious and motivated individual with foundational technical knowledge and a passion for building seamless user experiences. You will gain broad exposure to product strategy, execution, and compliance while growing into a seasoned product manager within a dynamic, cross-functional environment.

Accountabilities

  • Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, onboarding, product, and support teams to deliver high-impact communications solutions.
  • Support the discovery, scoping, and prioritization of new features and enhancements across the real-time communications portfolio.
  • Partner with product and engineering leadership on roadmap planning, execution tracking, and vendor coordination.
  • Assist in defining and writing clear, actionable product requirements and user stories based on identified use cases, bugs, and feature needs.
  • Help create workflow diagrams, documentation, release notes, and training materials for internal and external audiences.
  • Monitor product metrics such as call quality KPIs and reliability dashboards to guide decision-making and ensure SLA adherence.
  • Collaborate with legal and operations teams to stay aligned with evolving compliance regulations (TCR, TCPA, STIR/SHAKEN, CAN-SPAM).
  • Contribute to testing and analysis of telecom APIs, VoIP integrations, and new feature beta programs.
  • Participate in customer research and feedback collection to uncover pain points and opportunities for improvement.

Requirements
  • 1–3 years of experience in product management, software development, systems architecture, or a related technical field—or a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a similar discipline.
  • Self-starter mindset with strong curiosity, learning agility, and drive to take on growing responsibilities.
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and product development best practices.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional environments and communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with testing, debugging, and handling multiple priorities independently.
  • Foundational familiarity with RESTful APIs, VoIP technologies (SIP), or real-time communications platforms is beneficial.
  • Experience or exposure to cloud-based SaaS platforms is a plus, as is knowledge of telecom infrastructure or home services industries (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to drive execution with minimal oversight.

Benefits
  • Competitive salary range of approximately $93,800–$125,400 per year, plus annual bonus and equity opportunities.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage with 100% employer-paid options and 90% dependent coverage.
  • 401k match, FSA and HSA plans, and access to telehealth options including One Medical memberships.
  • Flexible time off, recognition programs, and extensive learning and development resources including leadership training.
  • Family-focused benefits including parental leave, up to $20k in fertility support, surrogacy and adoption reimbursement, and maternity support resources.
  • Additional perks such as pet insurance, legal advisory services, financial planning tools, and wellness initiatives.
  • An inclusive, supportive culture that values individuality, collaboration, and work-life balance.
