The Associate Product Manager will be part of a team driving product line contributions across divisional categories, reporting to the Category Director. This role supports the Product Management function by managing key deliverables and coordinating many aspects of the product portfolio, helping keep categories current and pipelines moving. The ideal candidate has strong business sense, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to contribute across a wide variety of projects with a desire to learn by doing.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the creation and execution of product roadmaps, product and packaging briefs, quoting, and go-to-market plans.
  • Conduct product, market, and competitive research to support new and existing initiatives.
  • Support product development by coordinating samples, specifications, and quoting inputs with sourcing and factories throughout the development process.
  • Manage and track projects across the product development lifecycle, helping maintain timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional alignment.
  • Coordinate sales sample requests and support category trade shows and customer meetings.
  • Process, analyze, and compile financial and performance data (e.g., Power BI) for monthly meetings and business reviews.
  • Monitor online reviews and customer feedback to identify trends and opportunities; collaborate with customer support and category teams to drive improvements.
  • Arrange shipping of samples and props for photo and video shoots and other marketing needs.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field.
  • 1–3 years of marketing, or product-related experience; CPG experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Strong organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with project management tools such as Wrike, Asana, Monday.com, or similar platforms.
  • Experience working with data, dashboards, or business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI) and translating data into insights.

Expectations

  • We expect the candidate to be based in or near Rancho Cucamonga, CA. This is a hybrid role whereby you will work out of our Rancho Cucamonga, CA office 3 days per week and can work from home 2 days per week.
  • Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

Pay and Benefits:

US$72,000.00 - US$78,000.00 Annually

Final compensation offered will be determined based on a number of job-related factors, including the candidate’s skills, experience, and qualifications. Employees in this role are eligible to participate in the company’s benefits program, which includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company matching, accrued vacation, floating holidays, and designated company holidays.
