About the Role

Are you a recent graduate with a business degree and a knack for analytical thinking? Elephant Insurance is seeking a motivated and intellectually curious individual to join our Pricing Department as an Associate Product Manager. In this role, you will help shape and enhance our core insurance product, collaborating directly with project management and other cross-functional teams, including operations and IT, to ensure our offerings continue to meet market needs and standards.

Who Should Apply

We are looking for someone who understands the importance of Cost-Benefit Analyses (CBAs), can ask insightful questions, apply analytics & AI tools, and is not afraid to challenge assumptions to deliver results. You should be confident interpreting CBAs and using their findings to guide your decisions.

Key Responsibilities

As an Associate Product Manager, you will play a key role in shaping our core insurance product by contributing to product strategy, conducting market and competitive analyses, and leveraging business analytics and cost-benefit analyses to drive decisions. You’ll actively manage backlogs and roadmaps, collaborating with project management, Operations, IT, and other stakeholders to translate customer feedback into actionable improvements. With a strong focus on outcomes, you’ll help define and launch new features, track their impact using relevant performance metrics, and seek opportunities for continuous enhancement. By championing the voice of the customer and sharing insights, you contribute to a culture of curiosity, learning, and innovation. This is a highly cross-functional position ideal for a motivated self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, data-driven environment and wants to make a real impact in the insurance industry.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Strong intellectual curiosity with the ability to independently research unfamiliar concepts or tools
• Experience or comfort using modern productivity and AI tools with sound critical judgment
• Ability to thoughtfully interpret, question, and apply insights from Cost-Benefit Analyses (CBAs) and business cases
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working across teams
• Analytical mindset and openness to learning in a fast-paced, strategic environment
• Self-starter attitude with a bias for action and achieving results

In-Office Requirements

This role is eligible to be fully remote, in approved Elephant states. There is no requirement to come to the office for any amount of time now or in the future. 

Work at Home Requirements

• A dedicated workspace that is free from background noise and distractions of any kind during business hours.
